Dr. Eng. John Ngatia Githui is a Registered Engineer (PE) with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) and a corporate member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya. He has over 20 years of experience in engineering management, particularly in road design, construction/project supervision, rehabilitation, and maintenance.

Dr. Githui holds a PhD in Organizational Leadership and Development from Pan African Christian University (PAC), a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nairobi, and a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Infrastructure Development and Transportation Engineering and Planning from Yokohama University, Japan.

In addition, he has advanced training in Performance-Based Contracts, Comprehensive Urban Transportation Planning and Projects, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment/Environmental Audit (Certified ESIA/SESA Lead Expert), Strategic Leadership Development Programme (SLDP), Senior Management Course, Monitoring and Evaluation (Certified M&E Expert), and Resource Mobilization and Project Concept Development (Certified Resource Mobilization Expert).
