In major cities worldwide, commuter rail systems are vital for efficient and sustainable transportation. They alleviate traffic congestion, reduce pollution, and provide reliable connections between urban centers and surrounding areas.Recognizing this, the Kenyan government has prioritized the development of a Commuter Rail system as part of the Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS).
